The Olympic sport of Modern Pentathlon consists of five sports yet four events: fencing, swimming, riding and the combined event (shooting and running), writes Iris Vlahoutsikou, competitions manage for the Union International de Pentathlon Modern (UIPM). The competition is organised within a one day period therefore, it is very important to have the facilities located as close as possible to each other.
